The problem

Handle pivots, body joints and brush shafts are the first parts to fail on a floor washer, yet the only way to verify them is to twist a handle by hand a few hundred times a day with inconsistent force and angle, so three months of testing yields no comparable data. Every new handle needs new fixtures, and a seized joint keeps being twisted until the sample is destroyed.

Capability

The machine fixes the washer handle at both ends in a fixture and a servo drive twists and swings the whole unit back and forth, reproducing the push, turn, lift and edge-swing motions that load the shaft system and joints. Twist angle 360-0-360deg freely adjustable with 0.1deg control accuracy; 0-9999999 cycles or time-based on-off mode; PLC with 7-inch touch screen for setting and display; pine board test platform with replaceable fixtures and counterweight base plates; test data saved automatically and exported over USB. Two stations selectable, each able to run alone; optional live power to the sample for loaded twisting. About 1700x1250x1450mm, AC220V 1.75kW.
