The problem

Leaking heating tubes are only found after they are built into the appliance, causing water leakage, after-sales rework and high cost; manual air leak checks give unstable pressure and subjective judgement; single-station testing cannot keep up with the line; and the leak point is hard to locate for marking and rework.

Capability

Dedicated non-standard machine for air-tightness testing of heating tubes. Six chambers pressurised independently without mutual interference; test pressure 0.3-0.9MPa adjustable, 0-200s settable, six stations with fixtures tested simultaneously and stations 1-6 selectable; flow: load tube into the mould, six-direction clamping cylinders seal the part, water-tank cylinder lowers to submerge the flange port, solenoid valves open and the sealed chamber is pressurised, automatic leak judgement by pressure change plus visual bubble check as double assurance; independent 0.5-class precision differential pressure sensor, precision regulator and gauge per station; pass shows green light, fail shows red light with automatic pass/fail counting; a leaking part stays pressurised until the cancel button releases pressure, making the leak point easy to mark for rework; chamber bore 400x180x600mm per station with eccentric mould port accepting eccentric-250mm shaped tubes or tubes up to 600mm long; air-hydraulic cylinders by six, hydraulic power unit, five fixture sizes 30 sets, external SUS304 water tank approx. 600x1200x750mm; PLC with A/D module and 7-inch Weiluntong colour touch screen; leakage and emergency-stop protection; frame approx. 1650x880x1750mm excluding 700mm cylinder height, AC220V/50Hz.
