Measures breakdown voltage and leakage current of specimens and doubles as a high-voltage source for components and complete units. CPU plus large-scale IC control; variac and step-up transformer output AC 0-5kV; on breakdown the protection circuit cuts the high-voltage loop automatically, the 4-digit display flashes and the event is recorded; single auto-test mode completes and records one test; 100V-5kV high-voltage generator, test rod and earth clip; microcomputer timing with pass/fail indication, PLC program, current and voltage meters; 300x430x320mm bench-top size for production lines and labs.
