Determines the impact toughness of rigid plastics, reinforced nylon, FRP, ceramics, cast stone and electrical insulation materials by striking specimens with a pendulum of set angle and mass. Complies with ISO 180, GB/T 1843 and JB/T 8761-1998 and can perform EN 62262 IK09/IK10 enclosure impact tests. Speed 3.5m/s; hammer energy 10J and 20J (one pair each of 10J 5kg D80 and 20J 5kg D100 weights, interchangeable); lift angle 150 degrees; pendulum-centre-to-edge distance 100-335mm adjustable; edge-to-jaw-top 22mm; edge radius R0.8mm; specimen types per GB 1843 and ISO 180; composite pendulum arm stronger than steel and lighter than aluminium; fixture adjustable 100-400mm front-back; touch screen plus PLC control.
