The problem

Linear motors in semiconductor tools and machine tools suffer thrust decay and fatigue failure; ordinary slides cannot survive ten-million-cycle tests, so university labs lack credible fatigue data. This bench runs four specimens in parallel.

4 independent stations, per-station stroke/speed/cycle setting, auto stop at count; position/velocity/torque triple closed loop; point-to-point, S-curve acceleration and multi-segment interpolation; pulse+direction or EtherCAT bus; output current >=20A RMS (peak 40A), response >1kHz; encoder support incremental ABZ, sine-cosine, absolute EnDat/BiSS-C; over-current, over-temperature, stall and encoder alarms; PC software for parameter setting and data export; integrable into a linear-motor laboratory with thrust bench, 16-channel temperature logger, EMC and IP dust/water equipment.
