The traction actuator drives drain and spin, and when it slips or jams in the field it becomes a batch service problem. Manual on-off benches cannot apply a defined load, cannot show travel, and cannot reproduce humid heat or winter cold - so failure curves are guesswork.
Twenty stations test drum and pulsator washer traction actuators in parallel, each station mapped to its display. A programmable single-phase AC supply covers 0-300V at 1000W with adjustable voltage and frequency, feeding five channels. Gravity loading uses 58.8N and 110N weight sets on a 10s ON / 5s OFF cycle with settable pauses; traction travel 0-15mm is displayed in real time and an in-position sensor stops the station immediately on slip, with audible-visual alarm. Counting reaches 300000 cycles automatic (settable from 50000), with run and dwell times programmable. An environmental chamber holds -5 to +50degC at 85-90%RH to reproduce humid-heat and cold conditions. Electric-parameter meters log voltage, current and power per group, with the industrial PC storing all results; manual and automatic modes, and the true pull-hold-release sequence against drain valve and clutch pawl timing is replayed every cycle.
Life validation at traction actuator and drain executor plants; incoming reliability audit by washer OEMs; third-party component testing; drain clutch assembly R&D verification
