The problem

Thermostatic valve cartridges require tens of thousands of hot-cold cycling actuations that cannot be done by hand; water temperature, pressure and flow must stay stable on many channels for days; the standard rhythm of knob movement and dwell times is second-level and cannot be reproduced manually; and temperature-characteristic drift after endurance has no curve evidence for customer audits.
