The problem

A ceramic-cartridge faucet faces several very different checks at once: mechanical strength under water pressure up to 1.6MPa and beyond, sealing at both dynamic and static pressure, flow values at 0.1MPa, and the sensitivity actuation point. Spreading these across separate single-function benches means reloading the sample again and again, and hot-cold data never lines up.

Capability

Two stations divide the work: one combines faucet flow testing with sensitivity testing, while the other independently runs sealing and strength tests on faucets, hoses or showers, so neither waits for the other. A dual-path water supply serves both: the low-pressure path handles dynamic testing at 0.3-0.8MPa (accuracy class 1, manually regulated, 0-99.9 s) and the high-pressure path handles static testing at 1.0-5.0MPa (accuracy class 1, inverter-regulated with automatic pressure tracking, 0-999.9 s), fed by a stainless multi-stage centrifugal pump plus a plunger pump with a maximum of 6MPa. The cycling routine is programmable, for example 0.5MPa dynamic for 2 s followed by 0.4MPa static for 2 s, with times and cycle counts set on the HMI. Hot-cold alternation covers 15-85degC +/-2degC with independent hot and cold timing, a stepper-motor changeover valve switching automatically, a 2P compressor for cooling and heaters for the hot side, and two 60 L insulated stainless tanks. PT100 sensors read temperature to 0.1degC; water temperature, pressure and flow are plotted live, and out-of-range values stop the test, raise an alarm and record the failure time with the function data at that moment. Power-fail memory keeps the count and state, resuming where it stopped. A Mitsubishi FX-series PLC, Weinview HMI and Mitsubishi inverter run the system, the test area is guarded by an acrylic shield, and the whole water circuit is stainless steel.
