The problem

Water-efficiency label filings demand one supply condition per appliance standard - toilets, squat pans, urinals, flush valves, faucets and showers each under their own GB. Labs that only plumbed for toilets must rebuild piping for flush valves and urinals, and the measured grade never quite repeats.

Capability

One system covers seven appliance types: sitting toilets, squat pans, urinals, flush valves, ceramic faucets, showers and sanitary ceramics, plus intelligent-toilet energy/water testing. Three stations run one at a time, switching between a tank-type toilet standard supply and a dedicated supply for toilets, urinals, squat pans, flush valves and ceramic faucets. Dynamic pressure 0.05-1.5MPa from a multistage pump with inverter and pressure sensor; static pressure 0.1-1.8MPa for sealing and strength tests. Water-consumption capture is automatic: static pressure, maximum flow velocity, minimum flowing pressure, main flush volume, total flush volume and trailing volume, with average consumption and water efficiency value computed. Full flushing-performance suite: ball evacuation (100 x 19mm polypropylene balls, 3-flush average >=90), granule evacuation (2500 granules, <=125 remaining), ink-line (<=50mm total, <=13mm per segment), trap-seal recovery (>=50mm), mixed media, waste replacement (dilution >=100), toilet paper and splash tests. Drainline conveyance uses an 18m 100mm pipe at 2% slope with a >=12m average transport requirement; DN120 transparent drain makes flow visible. PLC + 15-inch industrial PC with report generation, networking, storage and printing; SUS304 tank and frame; AC380V 3kW; flow up to 4m3/h; 2 artificial test bodies included.
