The problem

A refrigerator tipped by an open door, a washer walking across the floor, an outdoor unit kicked by a foot - stability failure is not a minor defect but a mandatory clause in GB 4706.1 clause 20.1, and without it there is no certificate. The test needs exactly defined angle, load and rotation conditions, not a carpenter's ramp the certification body will not accept, and outsourcing means weeks of queueing for every foot redesign.

Capability

The stability test platform meets GB 4706.1-2005 clause 20.1 and IEC 60335-1 clause 20.1, built of a working platform and an angle adjustment unit for stability testing of appliances that work on one surface, such as refrigerators, washing machines and air conditioners. The sample is placed on the platform which is tilted to the specified angle to check whether it overturns, assessing anti-tip capability in real use.
